Jeff Lawton is the Public Sector Director of Data Strategy and Management at Grant Thornton, based in Alexandria, VA. He has over 20 years of data management consulting experience for the Federal government, having implemented dozens of data warehouse, business intelligence, data architecture, and data quality projects. He is a frequent public speaker and author of numerous published articles on these topics, holds leadership positions in several IT professional organizations, including the chair of the CAM-I Data Management Working Group, the ACT-IAC Industry chair for Analytics, and the chair of the DC Informatica Users Group. Jeff received his MBA from the University of Georgia and BA from the University of Virginia and holds certifications as a Project Management Professional, Certified Business Intelligence Professional, Agile Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, and IT Infrastructure Library.
