Embedding Data Governance, Modeling, and Security into your DDLC

SDLCs are essential to delivering IT Projects. But most SDLCs are light on data-centric activities, and they might not address steps that take place outside of a project. That’s why it’s best to have parallel tracks: an SDLC that is free to be technology-centric, and a Data Delivery Lifecycle (DDLC) that focuses clearly on data-centric steps within and beyond a project. This session identifies key activities, decision points, and responsibilities to include in your DDLC and presents a model for inserting specialized data-centric roles into a “Business + IT” operational model.
